He/she would be responsible for :

The quality and completeness of assignments, including initial design, development, bug fixing, quality engineering, documentation, and general product maintenance.
To understand detail design document and perform coding as per the design and standards & guide lines which are defined at Organizational Level.
Doing impact analysis and resolving in-process problems independently, or with minor input from the engineering manager/technical lead.
Interfacing with support and other teams for testing, delivery and product dependencies.

The Software Engineer would be responsible for the Design and Development using ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C#, XML.

Major Responsibilities :

Participate in Requirement Analysis and design discussions
Design and develop modules and enhancements as per the requirements.
Resolve problems of moderate to high degree of complexity.
Interact closely with team members in different geographic locations during the product completion cycle

As a Senior Software Engineer you should have 3+ years of experience and should have:-

Experience in .Net Framework, C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server 2005/ 2008, MVC.
Well-versed with JavaScript, AJAX, Web Services, Threading
Have strong concepts of OOPS.
An idea about designing and should be good in using design patterns.
Good hands on experience with databases.
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal and analytical skills.
Experience of at least 2 year in development using ASP.NET , ADO.NET , C# , SQL Server 2000 / 2005 required.
Exposure of atleast 6 months required on AJAX , .NET 3.5 , Java Script.
Should be dedicated, hardworking and detail oriented.

Creating and maintaining reports in Excel that allows the company to get information on daily business activities.
Design reporting formats to provide accurate information in a clear and concise manner. Produce and support existing reports and processes.
Responsible for Team Management and Strategizing.
Extracting and updating data and recording it for generating reports for use of quality and operation team.
Building consistent methods for analyzing and reporting metrics.
Proficient in MS excel and data base.
